Utah Royals FC announced a lineup of exciting events ahead of the Royals’ October 17 match at America First Field against the Kansas City Current. The day centered around celebrating women will feature four unique activations for fans to take part in.
Included in Saturday’s jam-packed day of events is, a panel conversation highlighting women shaping the sports industry today, a sports bra drive, Policy Project Period Party and an auction put on by URFC players including autographed team issued gear in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“GameDay for the Girls” with Sportsish:
Utah Royals FC and Sportsish have teamed up for a special gameday experience, celebrating women in sports ahead of the match on Saturday. Beginning at 2:30 p.m. MT, attendees will have the chance to enjoy an exciting panel featuring President of Miller Sports + Entertainment, Michelle Smith; Founder of Sportsish, Lily Checketts Shimbashi; Lifestyle Influencer, Crystal Yedlin; and World Champion Bobsled Pilot and Olympian, Kaysha Love-Powell. Following the panel, everyone will have the opportunity to mingle and participate in an exclusive fan experience before attending the match.
URFC | Sportsish Ticket Packages
On October 17 at America First Field, Utah Royals FC and Sportsish present a one-of-a-kind “Gameday for the Girls” experience, celebrating the women who are shaping the game today and inspiring the next generation to lead it tomorrow.
October 17th Sports Bra Drive:
In honor of the International Day of the Girl, the Utah Royals, along with several other NWSL teams, are hosting a sports bra drive. This will take place at America First Field on 10/17, and all sports bras will be donated to the Sports Bra Project.
The Sports Bra Project increases access to sports for women and girls who don't have access to such a basic piece of equipment like a sports bra. If fans prefer, they are also welcome to donate online. There will be a booth on the plaza before the match with a QR code they can donate through.
We are looking for fans to bring in new sports bras that will be donated to girls and women in need!
Policy Project/Period Party:
The Utah Royals in partnership with the Policy Project and Aunt Flow will be hosting a Period Party on the Plaza pregame where fans are invited to join staff in packing 1,000 menstrual kits that will be donated to the Policy Project. The Policy Project has worked to ensure students in all schools have access to free Period Products throughout the state of Utah.
Breast Cancer Awareness Auction:
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, players from the Utah Royals will be auctioning off autographed team-issued gear like cleats, gloves, jerseys, scarves, and other featured items with all proceeds going to Intermountain Health to provide Mammogram Screenings to underserved communities.
Additionally, Intermountain Health will have their mobile Mammogram Bus on Plaza pre-game, so fans can receive free mammogram screenings before the game.
