Real Salt Lake was proud to announce Francisco Ortega as its Ford Season Ticket Member of the Match. Ortega was honored at RSL’s home match against FC Cincinnati on September 17.
The Club celebrated Hispanic Heritage Night at America First Field in front of the sixteenth consecutive home sell-out crowd.
Ortega has been coming to RSL matches since the Club played at Rice-Eccles stadium and decided this year to become a season ticket holder. Through the years, Ortega has seen quite a few players wear the Claret-and-Cobalt kit including his favorite, Kyle Beckerman.
“He was a great player and was not afraid to put the team on his back,” said Ortega.
