On the game:
“We didn’t find ourselves in the first half. LA did a really good job at winning the ball and we couldn’t figure out how to get the ball away from them in the first half. We did a really good job in the second half and came out with more energy. Being down we had to take more risks. In the first half we had a couple chances. If we had put one of them away the game would have been different, you have to put the chances away.”
On the message at halftime:
“We tried to make some tactical adjustments, Griffin, Pearse and Briggs came in and they brought energy and intensity, that’s why we did better in the second half.”
On being back in front of an amazing crowd:
“It’s good to have people here. It’s good to be back home. People are coming and we need to get victories while we’re at home. It’s very disappointing having this crowd here and losing like that. I hope that they will come back and we will have a better performance.”
Goalkeeper Jeff Dewsnup
On the game:
“In the first half they got two goals, but I thought we had the chances. Second half defensively we worked really well. It’s a long season and there's a lot for us to keep working on and keep building on.”
On his double save:
“It was right into the second half, so I knew that I had to stay switched on. Sometimes it's tough coming right back into the game, but I was ready and was able to make the save which I was really happy about.”
On playing in front of his family:
“It’s amazing. I can have my family come out and I can also have my friends come out because it is so close. It is really awesome to play in front of them.”
