HERRIMAN, Utah (Friday, February 25, 2022) – RSL Academy midfielders Carlos Castrejon and Armani Haro have been selected for upcoming camps with Mexico Youth National Teams.
Castrejon will be training with the U16 Mexico Youth National Team, while Haro will be training with the U15 Mexico Youth National Team. This is the second call-up for Castrejon in the Mexico system and the third overall, having previously earned a spot with the U15 United States Youth National Team due to his dual citizenship. Meanwhile, this call-up is the first at any international level for Haro.
Both midfielders joined the RSL Academy at the beginning of the school calendar year, with Castrejon coming from Albion SC in San Diego, California and Haro from Chula Vista FC right here in Utah.
The RSL Academy return to the Bay Area this weekend for a double header against Sacramento Republic on Saturday, February 26 and Ballistic United on Sunday, February 27.
