Traveling to Columbus tomorrow, how has training been? How are you feeling and how is the team feeling?
“I feel good. The team is very united and feels strong despite last weekend's results. We are working hard in order to move the team forward. We're going to walk into Columbus and perform the best we can in order to get those three points.”
What are the expectations going into Saturday's match?
“We're ready to go to war, that's what coach wants us to do. For us, we want to do the best possible to get the results we want and get those three points.”
Anything you would like the fanbase to know as the team looks to turn this around?
“I would ask them to please keep supporting us and be patient with us. The season is just starting and we're working hard. I'm working hard ... I was brought here because they saw good things in me and I know I can help turn it around and keep growing. I'm adapting and hope the fanbase can stay behind us.”

¿Viajando mañana a Columbus, ¿cómo ha ido el entrenamiento? ¿Cómo te sientes y cómo se siente el equipo?

You’re going back to Columbus where you started your MLS career, how are you feeling about this homecoming of sorts?
“I haven't played a league game In Columbus since I left, because of COVID, the schedule and stuff. It'll be good. Obviously, I've only been there for an open cup game, and really haven't been there for the new stadium. So be excited to see old faces in a place that means a lot to me. I'm forever indebted to that club, to that city, to those fans.”
Obviously there’s a lot of feelings that come up when you return to a place that had such an impact on you. Can you expand upon those?
“I’m excited. Obviously these new guys are a little spoiled. I remember my time playing at the old stadium and now they have Lower.com Field. The new training facility and everything that they build with new ownership is remarkable. It should be very nice for the new guys, obviously I think only Josh Williams is someone who’s still there from my time in Columbus. I think everyone else has moved on but I still have a lot of friends there. It’ll be good.”
Being from Michigan too, do you have any friends or family coming down for the game?
“I have few people coming down to the game. Few people from Columbus that I know as well will be there, so it'll be good. “
