Ford Season Ticket Member of the Match: June 10, 2023

Real Salt Lake was proud to announce Roger Crandall as their Season Ticket Member of the Match. Roger was honored at Saturday’s match against the New York City FC on June 10th. 

Roger has been with the team since the very beginning, before the team had even kicked off. 

“I received a phone call out of the blue while I was washing my car outside, and it was a sales rep selling season tickets. He was the most interesting, friendly, and engaging sales person I have ever encountered and so I bought my first season pass to anything ever in my life. I was there at the first game when Dunny planted the flag, and I have never regretted my choice to this day.”

Roger credits his wife’s Costa Rican heritage and the team’s underdog mentality as the reasons for becoming a season ticket holder. 

“I became a season ticket holder in part because my wife is from Costa Rica, where soccer is everything and I wanted to have that same spirit here in Salt Lake City. 

Here I feel like little guys taking on the world. It’s so much fun being the underdog who at times accomplished great things like the 2009 MLS Cup.”
